
Nathan Miller
Nate Miller brings a proven track record of building competitive teams and strong cultures across every level of the professional game.
The 39-year-old joined Athletic Club Boise after serving on the Real Salt Lake (MLS) technical staff in 2024 under head coach Pablo Mastroeni, where he contributed to tactical preparation, match analysis, and player development at the first-team level.
Prior to RSL, Miller was Head Coach of San Diego Loyal SC (USL Championship), guiding the club to a 16-9-9 record and a Western Conference playoff appearance in 2023 with a possession-based, attacking style. He previously led Lansing Ignite FC (USL League One) to a second-place finish and playoff berth in the league’s inaugural 2019 season, and served as head coach and general manager of Lansing United (USL League Two), helping multiple players transition into the professional ranks.
Miller began his coaching career at Spring Arbor University, where he compiled an 82-33-14 record and earned conference Coach of the Year honors.
Born in Jerusalem and raised in Pennsylvania, Miller is widely respected for his proactive tactical approach, commitment to player development, and ability to build unified locker rooms — values that align closely with Athletic Club Boise’s mission to create a club rooted in the Treasure Valley.

Eric Salley
Eric Salley serves as Athletic Club Boise’s Head of Performance, overseeing strength and conditioning, sports science, and physical preparation for the first team.
A graduate of Taylor University with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology, Salley holds his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the NSCA, a U.S. Soccer Federation “A” License, and the Premier Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches.
Salley specializes in optimizing performance for soccer athletes, integrating strength development, fitness programming, and sport-specific technical and tactical demands to support players throughout the season.

Tim Daniels
Tim Daniels joins Athletic Club Boise with extensive experience across the USL Championship and League One levels.
Most recently, Daniels spent two seasons as an assistant coach with the Charleston Battery, helping guide the club to the 2024 Eastern Conference Final. Prior to Charleston, he worked alongside Landon Donovan and Nate Miller at San Diego Loyal SC, contributing to three consecutive playoff appearances in the USL Championship.
Daniels previously coached in Michigan with Spring Arbor University, Lansing United, and Lansing Ignite FC, playing a key role in player development and team culture at each stop.
A native of Wheaton, Illinois, Daniels holds a U.S. Soccer “A” License and a master’s degree in Management from Fayetteville State University. He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Taylor University.

Diego Amaro
Diego Amaro serves as First Team Goalkeeper Coach for Athletic Club Boise, joining the club ahead of its inaugural 2026 season.
Originally from Tupã, São Paulo, Brazil, Amaro brings international perspective and experience developing goalkeepers from the youth level through the professional ranks. He previously served as Assistant Director of Goalkeeping at North Carolina FC Youth and has coached at Montverde Academy and Faulkner University, helping shape high-level prospects in elite training environments.
Amaro’s methodology emphasizes technical precision, modern decision-making, and mental resilience — key traits for goalkeepers operating in a proactive, possession-oriented system. He regularly shares insights and training concepts through his platform, The GK Blockade, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and goalkeeper education.
At Athletic Club Boise, Amaro works closely with head coach Nate Miller to establish the club’s goalkeeping identity and build a strong foundation in the team’s first professional season.

Michael Kafari
Boise native Michael Kafari brings lived experience as a player and a deep connection to the Treasure Valley soccer community. A standout at Centennial High School and Boise Nationals Soccer Club, he went on to play NCAA Division I soccer at the University of New Mexico. Post graduation he went on to have a nine year professional career playing for notable domestic clubs such as Sporting Kansas City, Puerto Rico FC, New York Cosmos, and Detroit City FC. At Athletic Club Boise, Michael manages soccer operations, local player pathways, and community engagement — helping local talent access clear opportunities while deepening the club’s ties to the Idaho soccer ecosystem.
