Bio: Boise native Grayson Carter is a midfielder and a product of the Real Salt Lake Academy system. Carter developed as an attacking midfielder and winger before continuing his career at the University of Pittsburgh. After making an immediate impact during his first season with the Panthers, he now brings high-level academy experience, creativity, and local ties to Athletic Club Boise as an academy player.
Timeline: Carter developed through the Real Salt Lake Academy system, where he played as an attacking midfielder and winger while attending Real Salt Lake Academy High School. During that stage of his career, he competed with Real Salt Lake, represented the U.S. Youth National Team, was part of a GA Cup championship team, and graduated as valedictorian of his class.
He joined the University of Pittsburgh for the 2025 season, appearing in all 18 matches and starting 15 as a freshman midfielder. Carter scored his first collegiate goal against Clemson on September 5, logged 1,307 total minutes, and played the full 90 minutes eight times, establishing himself as a regular contributor in one of the nation’s top college soccer conferences.
Following his first season at Pitt, Carter joins Athletic Club Boise as an academy player, bringing a strong development background, Division I experience, and a connection to Boise soccer.
