MOUNTAIN PEAK
Framing the crest is a stylized mountain ridge, referencing Idaho’s dramatic elevation and unyielding terrain. This form evokes resilience, not just of geography, but of character.
It stands for effort, ascent, and perspective. Core truths of both sport and life in the Gem State.

BASQUE INFLUENCE
An homage in letterform, the type design echoes the enduring spirit of Boise’s Basque community. Rooted in ancient Iberian design traditions, it embodies resilience, cultural pride, and the distinctive voice of a people who crossed continents yet remained unmistakably themselves.

PEREGRINE FALCON
At the crest’s center soars the fastest creature on Earth: the peregrine falcon. A symbol of precision and power, it honors Boise’s global role in raptor conservation through the World Center for Birds of Prey and The Peregrine Fund. Its presence evokes velocity, vision, and the instinct to strike with clarity.

AGRICULTURE FIELDS
The lines of cultivated earth rise in disciplined rhythm. They mirror the furrows of Idaho’s farmland; ordered, essential, and generative. These lines ground the crest in labor, legacy, and the kind of growth that only comes through patience and persistence.

STAR GARNET
Nestled near the heart of the crest glows the rare and radiant star garnet, Idaho’s state gem. Formed under geological pressure over millennia, it symbolizes inner strength, mystery, and the singular beauty that emerges through time and transformation.

TREASURE VALLEY
At the base of the crest, a V formation symbolizes the valley geography where the Boise and Snake River valleys converge. More than a letterform, it serves as a visual metaphor for place, convergence, and community. As the valleys form the Treasure Valley, this element signifies unity and rooted identity, grounding the club to its home.
