Bio: Born in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine, Denys Kostyshyn is a professional attacking midfielder with experience across European leagues and the U.S. professional ranks. A product of the Ukrainian football system, Kostyshyn developed his game in top domestic competitions before moving on to opportunities abroad. Known for his technical ability, attacking instincts, and creative vision, he brings experience as a goal-threatening midfielder and playmaker to the squad.
Timeline: Kostyshyn began his professional career in Ukraine, emerging from the Dynamo Kyiv youth academy before signing his first senior contract with FC Dnipro in 2014 and making his professional debut in 2017. Kostyshyn earned a move to FC Kolos Kovalivka ahead of the 2019 season, where he played a key role in the club’s historic rise to the Ukrainian Premier League, contributing goals as Kolos secured its first-ever promotion to the top flight. Over the next three seasons in the Ukrainian Premier League, he continued with Kolos as an attacking midfielder, adding goals and assists across league and cup competition while also featuring in the club’s 2020–21 UEFA Europa League qualifying matches. In January 2022, Kostyshyn joined FC Oleksandriya, making appearances at the top level of Ukrainian soccer before later continuing his career in the U.S. with El Paso Locomotive FC for the 2023 USL Championship Season. After leaving El Paso ahead of the 2024 season, Kostyshyn returned to Europe and, by early 2025, signed with FC Drita in the Kosovo Superliga, adding further international experience to his career.
